DESCRIPTION
The producer role is an integral part of Rain’s team and requires experience developing innovative approaches to digital, advertising, and branding. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the creative and technical process for the client to ensure it relates back to their overall business goals. With that in mind, this position requires strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will know how to recognize and negotiate multiple client business objectives, should understand consumer behavior and its relation to advertising, be experienced reviewing and monitoring analytic strategy and develop results/metrics. Exceptional time management and execution skills are also a must.
INTERACTIVE PRODUCER DUTIES
- Manage client expectations
- Cultivate and grow relationships with existing clients
- Provide strategic counsel to clients in the decision-making process
- Provide clarity, product vision/strategy, and set priorities
- Lead project teams (including developers, designers, and testers)
- Manage risk/stay ahead of issues/make course corrections
- Oversee QA on projects and have an intimate knowledge of bugs
- Oversee UX on projects
- Work closely with project manager and creative lead
- Monitor budgets, billing, hours, and profitability on projects
- Oversee strategy/marketing plan, development/implementation plans, design cycle timelines
- Coordinate resource needs with executive producer
- Work with management teams to design and manage company processes as well as change management
- Ultimately responsible for the success or failure of a project
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years experience in digital advertising and marketing environments
- Minimum degree BA/BS in business, advertising, marketing, technology, or communications from a 4-year college
- Experience managing web, software, and/or mobile projects
- Must have leadership, collaboration, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage and support multiple projects
- Ability to review research and draw relevant conclusions
- Must be experienced in development of online campaigns, mobile campaigns, and creative deliverables
- Experience managing media campaigns such as TV, radio, print from budget to execution is a plus
- Understanding of the development process in both waterfall and agile environments
- Understanding of quality assurance best practices and processes
- Adaptable team player, willing to play different roles, collaborate with and support colleagues and clients
- Excellent PowerPoint/Keynote and document editing skills
- Adobe product knowledge is a plus
- Classic management/consulting training a plus
- MBA a plus
